Clean Vibes at Reggae on the River
**Please be advised that this registration page is for CLEAN VIBES, the event waste & recycling provider, specifically, and is separate from the general festival volunteer program. Registrations between the two programs are non-transferrable.**
Clean Vibes will have TWO positions available at this event:
DURING SHOW CLEAN-UP Volunteers must commit to Three 5-hour shifts over the course of the four day event for a total commitment of 15 HOURS. Volunteers will work with Clean Vibes crew members to hand out bags to campers at the beginning of the event, and will be picking up loose litter on the ground and working with the Clean Vibes staff to sweep the venue and vending areas. This position involves stooping, lifting and consolidating large bags of recycling and refuse. Volunteers may also spend a portion of their shift sorting material to maximize waste diversion from the landfill.
During Show Clean-up Shifts:
Friday, 8/3/18: 1:00PM - 6:00PM
Saturday, 8/4/18: 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Sunday, 8/5/18: 8:00AM - 1:00PM
POST SHOW CLEAN-UP Volunteers must commit to two 8 hour shifts after the event on Monday (8/6) and Tuesday (8/7) for a total of 16 HOURS. Volunteers will work with Clean Vibes crew members and fellow volunteers to clear the venue and vending areas of all event litter and debris. This position entails walking, stooping, bending, lifting and handling event waste and recycling.
Post Show Clean-up Shifts:
Monday, 8/6/18: 12:00PM - 8:00PM (Lunch and Dinner will be provided)
Tuesday 8/7/18: 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided)
Work Requirement:
During Show - 15 Hours
Post Show - 16 Hours
Accommodation: Camping is provided
